HINTON, LOIS IRENE WHITE
Lois Irene White Hinton died at 4:31 p.m. July 21, 2010, at The Medical Center.
The Allen County native was a retired school teacher in Allen and Warren counties for 42 years. She was a Baptist, loved cooking and loved her family and going out with her sisters. She was a daughter of the late Lovie White and Hallie Stovall White and the wife of the late Albert L. Hinton. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Edwards and Lucy Tabor; two brothers, Loyd White and L.T. “Buddy” White; two nephews, James Terry Tabor and Steven Neal White; and a niece, Linda White Nance.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sisters, Lila Clay and Lillian White, both of Bowling Green, and Leora White, of Nashville; three nephews, Mike Clay, Leonard Clay and Lynnie Tabor; three nieces, Pam Wilkinson, Myra Mosley and Ellen Gibbons; and several great-nieces and nephews.
