FORSHEE, BOBBY GENE
Bobby Gene Forshee, 75, of Bowling Green, formerly of Russellville, died at 3:09 p.m. July 12, 2010, at The Medical Center.
The Franklin native was born Sept. 7, 1934. He was retired from Logan Memorial Hospital in environmental services and Colonial House Furniture. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Bobby loved the outdoors, fishing and square dancing. He was a son of the late Luther Forshee and Alice Gertrude Adams Ipox and the husband of the late Betty Johnson Forshee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Sue Bryan; a sister, Margaret Gosnell; and three brothers, Dickie Ross Grace, David Arnold Grace and John Lewis Grace.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a longtime companion, Annetta Cherry; two grandchildren, Heather Bryan, of Auburn, and Michael Bryan and his son, Ethaniel Raine Bryan, both of Russellville; a sister, Lottie Raines, of Adolphus; two brothers, Larry Wayne Grace and his wife, Doris, of Adairville, and Garry Lane Grace and his wife, Nell, of Portland, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; a special caregiver, Crystal Page and her two sons, Cody and Matt, of Bowling Green; and his cat, Jug Head, who was always by his side.
