BUCHANON, ISAIAH MONTGOMERY
Isaiah Montgomery Buchanon, 5, of Russellville, died at 7:48 p.m. March 6, 2010, at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
The Nashville native was born Jan. 11, 2005. He had been an inspiration and joy to all. He loved life, above all, his Momma and Dah, music, his animals, his farm and his many friends and family. He was affectionately known as a “John Deere Boy” and “Bowling Green’s Little Fireman.” Through every circumstance, Isaiah proved to be a fighter and taught us all what love and faith really means. Isaiah will be missed here on earth, but the victory is his. He was a son of Timothy Buchanon and Nicki Montgomery Buchanon, of Russellville, who survive.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rich Pond Baptist Church, with burial in Smith Cemetery in Logan County. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Other survivors include a little brother or sister, due on Sept. 6, 2010; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Joyce Buchanon, of Alvaton; maternal grandparents, Phil and Teresa Montgomery, of Franklin; a paternal great-grandmother, Bessie Tims, of Alvaton; maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Gail Abell, of Franklin; a maternal great-grandfather, John Montgomery, of Franklin; a maternal great-great-grandmother, Mattie Duncan, of Frankfort; aunts and uncles, Chris and Jamie Buchanon, of Alvaton, Drew and Amanda Krutza, of Louisville, and Jeremiah and Jessie Hussung, of Bowling Green; two cousins, Calvin Krutza, of Louisville, and Jacob Walton, of Woodburn; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
