BAIN, WILLIAM C. JR.
William C. “Bill” Bain Jr., 53, of McAllen, Texas, formerly of Bowling Green, died Feb. 26, 2010, at a Texas nursing home.
The Orlando, Fla., native was born Jan. 4, 1957. He was disabled and battled muscular dystrophy his entire life. Being unable to work, he was an avid reader and movie buff. Despite his difficulties, he always had a bright smile and a kind word for everyone. He will be greatly missed. He was a son of the late William C. Bain Sr. and Janice Dixon Bain, of McAllen, who survives.
Graveside service is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chapel Hill Cemetery on Scottsville Road. Visitation begins at noon Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel.
Other survivors include a brother, J. Alan Bain, of McAllen.
