GAYDEN, HENRY C.
Henry C. Gayden, 73, of Bowling Green, died Feb. 5, 2010, in Bowling Green.The St. Louis native was born Feb. 8, 1936. He was a retired employee of General Motors, a member of A.A. for 20 years and had 20 years of sobriety. Henry enjoyed watching sports and was quite partial to cake and ice cream. He was a son of the late Charles Thomas Gayden and Evelyn Jaquess Gayden. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry; and a sister, Alma Williams.Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Patricia Gayden; four sons, Terry, Michael, Tony and Kevin Gayden, of St. Louis; a daughter, Patricia Diane Gayden, of Bowling Green; two stepdaughters, Tajuana Morrison and Shannon Smith, of Bowling Green; a stepson, Dallas Ray Bunch, of Panama City, Fla.; and two sisters, Minnie Jaquess and Bennie Jones, of St. Louis.
